[UPDATE #1]: Purchased one more color - Dandelion. It's more bright, vibrant coral color than I expected, but I like it. Great for summer. I uploaded one more photo to show the comparison of Foxglove vs.Dandelion shade. Love them both, sometimes even mix the two together. Will definitely buy more.[ORIGINAL REVIEW]: This brand was introduced to me on I Read Labels For You by Irina who does her own extensive research on truly healthy an organic choices for beauty and household, digging deeply into each ingredient on a label, contacting manufactures, and then delivering the information to her readers without chemistry vocabulary, in simple words. So, trusting her advice, I bough this 100% pure lipstick. I've used it for a about 2 weeks now, and am so pleased with the result that decided to leave my own review with a photo, hoping it will be helpful for someone in doubt of this purchase.I have to say it was difficult to choose the color because of very few reviews and photos available. I followed the recommendation from the previous review for Foxglove color which said it's more suitable for of a pale skin tone. I agree. I have rather pale skin and my lips are not naturally bright. So I do regularly use lip color and gloss with color, but after reading what it's usually made of in terms of ingredients made me shrug... So I was determined to find a better, healthier choice for something I apply to my lips on a daily basis.I purchased the Foxglove color and am happy with my choice. The dark, the reds, or cold pink lip colors do not suit me at all. But Foxglove color is a warm, calm tone, not too dark, not transparent (rich color), natural color palette.Of course, lip color looks different on everyone because your natural lip color varies - for me with rather pale color lips I really like how Foxglove adds just enough color. I've attached a photo collage, but it converted the color a bit, and looks darker on the screen than in reality.I Would love to buy one or two more other colors of this brand, but don't know which ones!.. I wish there was more pictures/reviews of other colors. Or at least a smaller and less expensive set of testers to try.

I love this lipstick and especially the color. I thought it was too dark when I first saw it, but it is not that dark once you put it on, kind of a mauve color. I really like this lipstick and I would buy it again

Perfect lipstick and color! It’s tiny though. Definitely will buy again.

I bought two shades Zinnia and Black Rose. The colors are way off. I have attached photos. Especially the Black Rose. It is NOT the color listed in the product image details. I thought it would be more of a wine berry color as described and it is more orangish pinkish.
As you can see I held both black rose and Zinnia shades in an overcast natural light side by side and there isn't a significant difference in it's tint. I was looking forward to the Black rose shade which I applied and shown here.
On my reddish/yellow undertone medium brown skin it shows up rather pinkish and pale which is not the desired outcome. The tint goes on well and smooth and I would NOT call it sheer.
This is a good moisturizing lipstick but has a weird rancid smell to it as though oils have turned. I like the natural ingredients and the small footprint packaging.
I hope I can return it. Not a good match and wish the manufacturer could provide accurate color tint photos as shown here.

I have a few colors from this collection - thistle, zinnia, poppy, and a duo from their holiday specials - and tried a few more in store (narcissus, foxglove, etc.). The formula is incredibly creamy, pigmented, and moisturizing. I have very dry lips and these actually keep my lips moisturized for 3+ hours in New York winters.

Zinnia is my favorite every day deeper brown-leaning nude. My mom loved it so much that she took mine! Thistle was too brown to use on my lips, but it turned out to be the PERFECT cream blush that I reach for every day - it gives you a perfect bronzy, peachy, pinky flush of color. I rarely wear poppy as it’s just too bright and red for most occasions, but I’ll save it for something special - and I’ve enjoyed the way it looked on me when I wore it. Red gold & rose gold are holiday specials that only come out around thanksgiving every year and I snagged a pair this year. The red gold is less red than poppy but still a vibrant color, making it more wearable for me, as I like to keep my makeup pretty light on a daily basis.

I’m definitely missing my favorite Zinnia, and I look forward to repurchasing it after I use up some lipsticks from my existing collection. The fact that it’s vegan and made from good ingredients by a company with a commitment to the environment makes me a loyal 100% pure fan. I also haven’t been able to find a conventional high-end lipstick that performed as well as this (pigmented and moisturizing for so many hours).

For reference, my skin is medium with a neutral-olive undertone.

Some of these lipsticks smell like berries and apply smoothly. I have some colors like Foxcroft that feel like they just sit on my lips and wear easily. The darker colors seem to have longevity for me, but I have had two colors, Calypso and Black Rose arrive that applied dry and smelled like an old crayon that I returned. They were some of my favorite colors unfortunately. The company allows easy returns however. I like that these usually apply smoothly and have a natural formula. Some of the nudes and lighter colors will vary on skintone because it uses fruit pigmentation. Foxcroft fades to a brighter pink stain on me, but may look more nude on someone else. I attached a photo of some of the reds from 100% pure because I was trying to color match to Ruby Ripple from Burt Bees on me. I would recommend the lipstick, but I wish that Calypso and Black Rose had a longer shelf life because I love the color but have had bad luck with receiving an aged product.

4.0 out of 5 stars Natural, pretty but stale

Reviewed in Canada on April 14, 2020

I believe that this lipstick is the best quality. But, maybe because of its natural ingredients that cant hold, it is actually stale, which should not be for 40$. So, maybe amazon is not the best place to purchase this kind of a product.
